A video tool that takes Persian seriously
We built capshak because Persian captions still break in most tools: detached letters, missing half-spaces, flipped numbers. And because editing a short video shouldn’t mean uploading hundreds of megabytes and waiting.
Our story
Where it started
capshak began with a recurring headache: Persian captions that never came out right.
The problem
Every Persian-speaking creator knows the scene: auto-captions that split words at the half-space, show words too early or too late, and fall apart in Latin fonts. Fixing them takes hours.
The idea
So we set out to build a tool designed for Persian from day one: captions timed to every word, proofreading that understands the half-space, and real Persian fonts, inside a full editor that runs in the browser.
Today
That became capshak. Your video is opened and rendered on your own device, only compressed audio is sent to make captions, and editing and exporting are free.
