Notes on captions and short video

Guides, ideas and product notes for people who make short videos, in Persian and English.

Persian captions done right: RTL, half-spaces and fonts

Why Persian captions break in so many tools, a practical checklist to get them right, and how capshak handles them.

How capshak edits and exports video on your own device, what little it sends to the server, and the trade-offs of working this way.

Practical rules for short-form captions: size, position, safe zones, word-by-word highlights, contrast, timing and picking the right style.

How text-based editing works in capshak: delete words to cut the video, clear pauses and filler words, restore cuts, then polish on the timeline.

Edit and export for free, and pick a plan when you want AI captions. Nothing to install.
