  1. 01

    Drop your video

Pick a file and it opens instantly: decoding, waveform and preview run on your device, nothing waits on an upload.

  2. 02

    Captions on every word

Only a small audio file goes to transcription. Words come back with their own timing, Persian or English, ready to style.

  3. 03

    Cut by deleting words

Select words in the transcript and delete them. The video cuts itself; fillers and long pauses go in one click.

  4. 04

    Make it yours

Twenty-four caption styles, 53 fonts, animations per word, stickers, music, effects and keyframes on a real multi-track timeline.

  5. 05

    Export the MP4

H.264 encoding happens in the browser too. Captions are burned in, frame-accurate, exactly as in the preview.

Privacy by architecture

Your video stays with you.

Most editors upload your whole file before they can do anything. capshak decodes, previews and encodes in the browser. To write captions, it sends only a compressed audio track, about 240 KB a minute. Backup to our servers is your choice, so you can open a project on another device.

Questions

Good to know.

Is my video uploaded to your servers?

Not for editing or exporting. The video is opened, previewed and encoded in your browser. To make captions, only a compressed audio track is sent. You can choose to back the video up so the project opens on another device; backups are deleted automatically after a set number of days.

How does pricing work?

There are three plans, Bronze, Silver and Gold, paid monthly or yearly (yearly is 25% cheaper). Each covers captions, AI proofreading, translation and the AI editor within its limits: the longest video per project, transcription minutes a month (only Bronze has a cap) and AI editor requests a month. Editing, styling and exporting are free, even without a plan.

How accurate are Persian captions?

Very accurate for clear speech. The speech model is chosen for Persian, and AI proofreading fixes misheard names and words, ZWNJ and punctuation. You can also edit any word by hand.

How long can my video be?

It depends on your plan: a project can be up to 5 minutes on Silver, 10 on Bronze and an hour on Gold. capshak is built for short-form.

Do exports have a watermark?

No. MP4 exports are always free and never watermarked.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The editor is built for touch: drag the timeline with a finger, pinch to zoom, and tools open in place of the timeline. It runs in current Chrome, Safari and Edge.
